Travel to Algeria
Traveling to Algeria is quite simple with its good and efficient connectivity from all over the world. The flights are available in plenty from Europe and domestic flights of Africa that have Algeria in its one of the favorite destination. The best way to reach Algeria is by Ferry service. The ferries ply between the important cities of the Africa and Algeria. The view from the ferry is quite soothing and that is the reason attracts tourist and local people. Travel by road is not advisable as the drives are not smooth and not safe too. so better option to reach Algeria is by flight or by waterway. But if tourist plans to drive in the country they should hire a guide at the border itself. Driving alone can be risky. Train service is also available but the time taken by trains is somewhat not justifiable for the distances they cover. So there has to be a lot of patience while traveling by state transport.
Attractions
The foremost attraction of Algeria is the EL-Oued city. This city is also known as Domed City because of the architectural features and highlights. The town is having thousand domes and hence got its name from the same. EL – Oued is one of the most important cities of the Souf region. The buildings here got the feature of building domes from the fact that the place is very hot. So the architectural art of building high domes keep the buildings cool. The second famous thing about the city is, its carpets. The carpets available here are of high quality and show the traditional work majestically. The city is at its best on Fridays when it is most decorated and cheerful.
The second place to be in Algeria is Martyr’s Monument. This monument signifies the Algeria fight for freedom. The monument is a concrete thing with slight non pleasing appearance. But is a tourist attraction due to its historic importance and gives a glimpse of the Algeria’s past. The Monument is open to the public since nineteen eighty two, which marked the twentieth anniversary of Algeria’s Independence. The area is beautiful and have some shops too near by selling some food items and handicrafts. Soldiers also closely guard the area.
The third destination in Algeria should be Timimoun. It is the most romantic place in Algeria. The Timimoun is an Oasis and provides splendid view for the couples. And is a perfect place to be on honeymoon.
The oasis matches the true description of stories depicting the Sahara desert oasis. The area is green with over 450 000 palm trees giving a splendid eye shot in the midst of desert. Timimoun is a fairy-tale Saharan oasis town. Its palmeraie counts up over 400,000 palm trees and there are sights of an olden salt lagoon and far ridges from the rim of an escarpment on which the town is constructed. The structural design here is a superb terracotta color, with flat profiles and soft lines curving about the windows. Near the Timimoun is Tasfaoud village, a petite oasis with a 13th century Almohad palace that also attracts tourists from all over
Language
The official language of Algeria is Arabic. French is another popular language in Algeria.

There are great things that can be bought from Algeria. There are a great variety of carpets to get around, designs that differ from one area to another, and which are discrete for Algeria. Jewelry and wooden handicrafts are other excellent items to from Algeria.. Although you can get good stuff from Algeria but it is very important that you should know to bargain.
Destinations in Algeria
Algiers
Once famous as one of Arabia's most gorgeous towns, Algiers was by no means the same after years of regal rule. Today it is slightly greater than a contemporary port township. Most public hangs about here just long enough to organize their transport to Tamanrasset and other parts of Algeria, Europe or Africa.
Ghardaia
Ghardaia is basically a group of five towns in the river gorge of the Oued M'Zab - Ghardaia, Beni Isguen, Melika, El-Ateu and Bou Noura. The region is famed for its carpets and the every day souq in the elderly town. Beni Isguen is one of the most famous places in the town.
