Most of the people of the world have an image of Pakistan as one of the most communal and violent arenas of the world. Travel to Pakistan
Pakistan is well connected to various European and Asian countries by a network of International Airlines. Most of the International airlines arrive in Karachi, Peshawar and Islamabad. You can also reach Pakistan, if you first reach India and take a rail route from Amritsar that is recently started again. You can also take the bus service from Delhi in India and reach Lahore. Apart from the Grand Trunk Road, one of the most significant roads to Pakistan is the Karakoram Highway, which is from China. Pakistan has a good network of buses within the country but they do not give a very comfortable journey. Although the buses do promise a cheap journey. Also there are domestic flights available at reasonable rates within Pakistan that connects all major cities of Pakistan. You also have an option to take up a van or a caravan or even rent a car to reach the interior areas of the country.
Attractions
Chaukundi is a major attraction in Pakistan. Chaukundi Graveyards extend for many kilometers all along the shore around Karachi. The biggest and most striking graves and mausoleums are located at Chaukundi. The structures are built of chunks of rock, piled into rectangle pyramids of cubical marbles and engraved with beautiful designs. Khunjerab pass is another favorite attractions of tourists visiting Pakistan. Khunjerab Pass connects Pakistan with China on the Karakoram Highway is inside the Khunjerab National Park. The pass is lone of the not many recognized home of the huge, coiled horned Marco Polo sheep, which is a rare species in the world. It is also house to Himalayan ibex, wolves, snow leopards, golden marmots and more. You cannot forget to visit the remains of Moenjadaro when you visit Pakistan. Of the 165 places of the Indus Valley civilization so far exposed, the amazing antique city of Moenjodaro is by far the most striking archeologically as well as a visual treat. Apart from for the sputa, the entire present layer of excavation is from approximately 2500 BC. There is a museum having remnants from the site, counting stamped seals and terracotta models.
Language
Urdu is the national and the official language of Pakistan. Sometimes English is also used in lieu of Urdu. Urdu is strongly linked with Hindi but it is written in a general Arabic alphabet rather than in Devanagari. Urdu is more alike to Arabic and Persian than Hindi. A variety of other languages that are spoken in Pakistan are Punjabi, Siraiki, Sindhi, Pashtu, Balochi, Hindko, Brahui, Burushaski, Balti, Khawar, and Gujrati etc.

Pakistan offers a great variety of shopping materials to its tourists and visitors. Unique purchases include engraved wooden tables, trays, bamboo decorations, screens, pottery, camel-skin lamps, silver jewelry, carpentry, hand-embroidered shawls, cane items, conch shell ornaments, goblet bangles, gold ornaments, rugs and carpets, silk, cashmere shawls and ‘saleem shahi’ shoes with overturned toes. While few of the main towns have craft centers where handicrafts from different regions are marketed, bazaars generally provide the most appealing shopping. A good bargain can get you great deals.

Lahore
