While sometimes train can also be an alternative for you to travel to various destinations of the country, they also prove to be safer, comfortable and quicker. Though an option of train is open but some parts of the country are accessible only via road. Cars and motorbikes are also an option to travel. These are available at a reasonable price. Here people are friendly enough and will be happy to give you a lift to your destination.

Vietnam is a beautiful country with great places to mesmerize the tourists. The beach at Nha Trang is considered to be one of the favorite attractions to the tourists. The Mui Ne Beach or the Nha Trang has some of the extravagant rock formations, which make the tourist spell, bounded. Snorkeling, diving, and deep sea fishing are the main beach activities that you can indulge into. Horseback riding and hiking are also activities that are greatly enjoyed by the tourist at this pleasant location.
Another attraction among tourists visiting Vietnam is the Cuc Phuong forest. Cuc Phuong forest, which is about 62 miles to south west of Hanoi, is one of the world’s few outstanding primordial tropical forests. Here one can get a chance to see some of the fascinating caves of the world. The main attractions here are the flying lizards and yellow monkeys.
You cannot forget to visit cat Ba Island when going to Vietnam. Cat Ba Island is the largest island of the Cat Ba Archipelago. It offers a great variety of the gorgeous terrain and assorted ecosystems in Vietnam. The island is abundant in all kinds’ of flora and fauna. Fauna here includes boar, wildcat, porcupine, deer and kinds of monkeys.
Halong Bay is another popular attraction in Vietnam. Halong Bay is one of the natural marvels of Vietnam. The island is full of beautiful and innumerable beaches. It has got the most remarkable caves of three chambers. Ha Long actually refers to as ‘where the dragon descended into the sea.’ Taking a tour of bay is a must.
Language
Vietnamese is the national and the official language of Vietnam. English is the secondary language of the country. Though the language Vietnamese is basically borrowed from Chinese language, but today’s writing system is in the form of Latin alphabets. Other languages spoken in Vietnam are Chinese, French, and Russian.
Shopping
Though Vietnam does not offer many varieties to shop but Vietnam markets carry a huge collection of souvenirs and traditional handicrafts. Vietnam is renowned for its colorful markets, which is a marvelous place to buy a local product or handicrafts. The most popular items that could be shopped from here are the left over from the Vietnam’s war that is watches, compasses, and all kinds of military equipments. Jewelry can also be bought from here but the customer should be quality conscious. The shops in Vietnam also offer replicas of the antiques. Saigon is the place where you can buy lots of modern goods. Dragon fruit is the specialty in Vietnam’s local fruit. It tastes like kiwi. Although the availability of this fruit is quite rare but it is worth the effort you put in to buy it.
Destinations in Vietnam
Hanoi
Hanoi is the second largest city and Vietnam’s capital. It has beautiful gardens and lovely lakes. To the west of Hanoi are the Son La Mountains, which are famous for theirs wildlife sanctuaries. Hanoi is one of the most popular destinations among the tourists.
Hue
Another popular destination is Hue. Hue is situated in between the north and south of Vietnam. Magnificent temples, olden tombs, monopolize this royal city of Hue. Central Vietnam offers a variety of most charming and peaceful beaches at Nha Trang. Nearby, Hon Yen Island
