El Salvador
The official name of El Salvador is the Republica de El Salvador. The capital of the nation is San Salvador. El Salvador lies in Central America and its neighboring countries are Honduras and Guatemala. El Salvador is the major region for the air transport in Central America. It is connected to major parts of the world through dense network of international airlines. The national airline of the country is TACA. You can also choose from number of other airlines like Delta, American, Continental and United Airlines offering its services in the country. You will have to arrive to the Comalapa International Airport, situated on the Pacific coast, which is about forty five kilometers from the capital of El Salvador. The seaside panorama is made up of a sequence of environmental formations such as sea cliffs and large rock structures covered with tropical flora.

The official language of El Salvador is Spanish. English is also widely used in most parts of the country.
Shopping
Although there is not much that can be bought from El Salvador, but you can always take home some local handicrafts from the handicraft market at La Palma, Nahuizalco and Ilobasco. You can find large shopping malls at San Salvador, Ciudad Merlio, San Miguel and Sonsonate.

San Vicente
The pleasing town of San Vicente situated on the ends of Volcan Chichontepec, enclosed by luxuriant heaving hills is a perfect destination for a quiet, comforting holiday. The nearby regions flourish with lagoons and volcanoes offer abundance of prospects to blend with environment. The town is also abode to the oldest cathedral El Pilar that was built in the 18th century.
The band along the Pacific coast may be the hottest areas in the El Salvador but it draws most tourists.
La Libertad
