So if you are a snow lover, you can always be here in the chilly winters. Normally traveling in such chilly winters is not a good idea. The summers of Belarus are quite cool and moist.

It has beautiful forts, palaces, and several beautiful churches. Another attraction of Belarus is the city of Minsk. You can experience the older soviet times in the city. This is a clean city that has buildings lined up to remind you of the soviet history. The Brest Fortress is one of the places that cannot be missed in Minsk. Dudutki Open Air Museum is another attraction for people who travel to Belarus. This museum is located in the drowsy small village of Dudutki.
In Dudutki, you can experience traditional arts and crafts of Belarus. The old styled wooden and hay houses through out the village remind about the olden times. The atmosphere of the village is very refreshing, you can wonder about in fresh air or you can climb on a working windmill. You can also have a refreshing horse ride or just rest in the soothing atmosphere of the village. The museum of great Patriotic war is another site of interest that cannot be missed while being in Belarus. Shopping In Belarus
There are a lot of shopping avenues available in Belarus. There are departmental shops, traditional stores, indoor markets, and the outdoor markets. If you are good at bargain you have a good chance to try your skills at Belarus.
Wooden caskets, straw items, trinket boxes, decorative plates and other handicraft items are good buys. Characteristic Russian mementos like the wooden Matreshka dolls and original samovars are also accessible in the area. Scarina Avenue is the major street with traditional shops and two department stores. But here only Belarusian Roubles are accepted. However, almost each shop has a currency exchange counter. Normally the tourist shops are open on Sundays too.
