Beauty of Slovenia: With the attractive Alps Mountains in one side and the silvery waters flowing towards it Slovenia resides. Transit Visa: If you need to travel to another country from Slovenia and return back then you may need to get a Transit visa. This is provided for single, double and in some cases multiple entries. But you need to have the permit to enter to the desired country.
Getting there: Slovenia’s national airline is Adria Airways. Slovenia can be best reached from the European countries. Other airways that run regular flights include Air France, Swiss Air and British Airways etc. Trains reach Slovenia from major cities in Eastern and Western Europe. From the Airport: Ljubljana International Airport is about 26 km from downtown Ljubljana and regular bus transportation from the terminal is within reach. Travel to the city will be approximately 45 min.
By Taxi: Comfy taxis are also readily available from the aerodrome. Rental cars can also be obtained for the airport.
Take the Rail: Train too facilitates from Slovenian main Railway Station in Ljubljana to the other towns. Buses are linked from the airport to the railway station.
Rent a Car: Car rental companies like Europcar -ABC, Avis, Budget, Dollar and Thrifty, Hertz, Sixt Rent a car, Atet – Advantage and National provide transportation facilities. Cars are the best way to travel through Slovenia as a glimpse of the true beauty can be caught.

Language: Slovenian or Slovene as it is often referred to in English is the official language and it is spoken by the major population of Slovenia. Italian and Hungarian are acknowledges as the co-official languages in areas where they are in dominance. Croatian, Serbian and German are the languages spoken by the minority citizens who reside in Slovenia.
Tourists Attractions: Blejski Grad – With a picturesque view of the town above the lake stands the castle. A magnificent rock holds it above 100 m from the clear waters. A Romanesque tower stood in 1004 in the very spot and parts of the Bled castle as it is also know, were added within 800 yrs. The chapel in the castle is the most alluring aspect. Blejski Otok: This is a picturesque island in the midst of clear blue waters of Lake Bled. An ancient neo-gothic cathedral built in 1142 stands among the plush greenery. With divine mountainous backdrop a gondola ride leads to the Blejski Otok.
Triglav National Park: Surrounded by dense forest, Triglav National Park may be said as heaven on earth. Spreading up to more than83 hectares the Triglav National Park named after the mountain Triglav takes Slovenia’s fraction of the Julian Alps. Striking valleys, waterfalls, exotic peaks, flora and fauna can just cast a spell over the visitors.
Slovenski Ethnographic Museum: This is a notable museum that houses a range of ethnographic works. Paintings, picture and dolls find an important place. Other collections include graphic representation of social culture, crafts, textiles, home fixtures, folk art, architecture and native culture. Works of non-European countries also take a portion. Kamnik: Besides a noteworthy mountaineering site Kamnik is a historic place. The soaring waters make this location a good skiing spot too. July is the best time to visit as the International Summer Festival is held in Ljubljana. Slovenia’s Western province, Primorska also hosts a summer festival.
