For the past many years, Brazil has signified the enormous flight into a prehistoric, tropical ecstasy; lighting the Western thoughts like none other South American nation. From the crazy obsession of Carnival to the enormity of the gloomy Amazon, it is a nation of mythic proportions. Possibly it is not quite the Eden of accepted thoughts, but it is still a land of astounding exquisiteness. There are extends of unknown tropical forest, isle with immaculate sultry beaches, and never-ending rivers. Brazil is a place where its friendly and warm-hearted people always welcomes visitors

Traveling to Brazil is easy as it is connected to most parts of Europe and America by regular flights. The international airport at the capital of Brazil handles most of the international flights. If you are on a long South American trip and are in Argentina, Uruguay or Venezuela you can reach Brazil via road. Brazil is also well connected internally by a network of domestic airlines. These airlines are cheap as well as comfortable. Other than the Amazon basin, buses are the chief mode of transport within Brazil. The buses here are fast as well as regular. Boat travel within the country is prevalent between some cities along the Amazon. You can also rent a taxi or hire a car to travel with in Brazil.

Attractions

Brazil is a beautiful country full of attractions for its tourists. One of the most visited attractions of Brazil is Mamiraua Sustainable Development Reserve. This is a wildlife national park. This wild life park is situated in old flood plains forests that are almost amid Manaus and the Peruvian frontiers. It is a part second largest conserved rain forest in the world. It provides excellent opportunities of eco tourism. Eco lovers from all over the world come here for research as well as viewing the perfect piece of immense primary rainforest, rivers and lagoons actually swarming with life. Encontro das Aguas that means ‘meeting of the waters’ is another major attraction in Brazil. It is where the shady mauve Rio Negro meets up the beautiful cafe-au-lait Rio Solimoes, a few kilometers downstream from Manaus. The two rivers run side by side without mixing for a few kilometers. This is due to disparity in their velocity, density and temperature. They lastly unite to form the Amazon River. You cannot forget to visit Amazon Basin when in Brazil. The Amazon basin holds 6 million square kilometers of river and tropical forest and extents eight countries. Travelers go in the Amazon basin by bus, boat and air. Destinations in Brazil

Brasilia

Brasilia is the capital of Brazil. It is one of the most loved destinations in Brazil. It is considered to be the world's most planned city. Unluckily, its design favors cars and air-conditioned vehicles rather than people, so you will sweat as you make your way through the hot and humid roads of the city. But still it is one of the most important cities of the nation. It has plenty of places that attract the tourist in spite of its climate.

Rio de Janeiro

Architect Oscar Niemeyer, landscape architect Burle Marx and urban planner Lucio Costa designed this exotic city. It is one of the popular destinations of tourists visiting Brazil. The city was completed in a short span of three years by millions of poor peasants that worked days and nights to give the city the beauty for which it is known. Tourists have plenty of opportunity to dance, drink, enjoy on beaches and have a great holiday in the place.
